JIC, a Czech incubator, wanted to explore entry into the U.S. market through SXSW. The challenge was to create a compelling pitch that positioned JIC and SlovakPRO as valuable players within the SXSW ecosystem while showing clear relevance to an international audience.
SXSW is more than an event. It is a gateway for global companies looking to build visibility, form strategic relationships, and establish credibility in the U.S. market. For JIC and SlovakPRO, the opportunity was not just to attend SXSW, but to use it as a launch point for broader business growth and cross-market connection.
We developed a pitch strategy that framed SXSW as an entry platform for international expansion. The work included a full pitch deck, market research, strategic positioning, execution planning, and mock advertising materials designed to show how JIC and SlovakPRO could successfully enter and engage the U.S. market.
Project Overview
In June 2024, I traveled to Prague to compete in the JIC / SlovakPRO SXSW Entrance Competition. Within a 7-day timeline, our team was tasked with developing a complete pitch solution that combined strategy, research, storytelling, and creative execution
My role focused on shaping the creative direction of the project, helping build a pitch that was both strategically grounded and visually compelling. The final outcome earned 1st place globally, recognizing the strength of the concept, clarity of the strategy, and overall execution.
